Processing verification for hard-to-process materials

Cutting agents, materials, coolants, processing kinematics, and operation settings are all precisely combined, using actual workpieces to develop machining processes from the ground up.
In heavy industry, machining is diverse, performed on special materials, workpieces with large diameters, and thick workpieces.

Often, this work can't be achieved with standard settings. Instead, Nagel's technical center uses actual components to provide support in everything from test processing to near-mass production processes and appropriate tool selection.

The technical center can be used for verification of new material processing, new shape processing, and pre-mass production processing.

Servicing to maintain and extend machine lifespans

Through overhauls, repairs, and upgrades to support new technologies, Nagel not only restores machinery capabilities to their initial performance levels, but also maintains and improves the long-term operational lifespans of machines.

It uses an integrated system to provide current status evaluation, individualized servicing plans, repairs, and long-term support. This provides tremendous advantages for heavy industry enterprises, which deal with high deployment costs for large-scale equipment and which require long-term equipment operation.

Long-term guarantee and servicing support even after model discontinuation

Sunnen's standard warranty is for three years or 6,000 spindle hours (whichever is shorter), and applies to both the base machine and all factory options.
Sunnen continues to provide repair components and perform repairs for years after products are discontinued.

Sunnen's full-time technical personnel can go on-site to deal with problems and perform repairs.

Training support for new operators

Training is available not only when systems are installed, but also when new operators are hired or when working with new types of workpieces.
